The Vision
WatercolorWobbles is a 501c3 nonprofit organization. It is classified as a private foundation. WatercolorWobbles is operated out of the founder's home and every effort is made to keep overhead costs as low as possible in order to maximize community impact. While the mission may evolve overtime, the foundation is aiming to raise as much money for the charitable organizations that have supported those with serious health conditions. Art is for everyone, and WatercolorWobbles aims to expand the mission to sponsor individuals unable to work on their own healing journey, giving them purpose and hope.
Shannon, Founder
Shannon is a biomedical engineer living in Boston, MA. She recieved an unexpected brain tumor diagnosis in August 2025. With zero art experience, she started painting as a distraction. Close friend Suzanne offered her support and mentorship. The tumor was operated on in December 2025, reducing its size from 22mm to 4mm. The journey continues, but art therapy has not only been recommended by rehabilitation clinicians to heal the brain, but it also gives Shannon purpose and hope.
Suzanne, Art Mentor
In her work Suzanne seeks to capture the color, light, and texture of rural areas, interweaving her own perception with local mood. Some of her favorite places to paint are Cape Cod and the islands, Vermont, and Provence, France. The treasures and natural beauty of the world are expressed through her watercolors. Suzanne is an award winning artist and has been invited to be in several group and private shows. She shares her talents by donating her paintings to many charitable organizations. Suzanne has also volunteered her time by teaching art to children in the community.
